The kite skiing, also known as snowkiting or skikiting, is the latest craze in sports with high-adrenaline in Norway. Some skis or a snowboard, helmet, harness, kite, rainwear and some practice is all it takes to reach speeds of up to 100 kilometers per hour.

Another important point for skiing with the comet is renowned mountain Geilo. This small city has been hosting the World Cup and World Cup skiing kite. Here you can arrange for the entire season of winter classes with experienced instructors. 

The World Cup was also held in Tyin / Filefjell, an excellent place to practice the kite by its spectacular location in the middle of some of the highest mountains in Europe.
